Global School Swimming Series (GSSS)

The Global School Swimming Series ("GSSS"), operated by AP Race and TEEMS Global, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all payment-related information collected during registration and event participation.

 

Collection of Payment Information

When making a payment through the GSSS website or registration platform, we may collect information necessary to process your transaction, including:

• Name of Payer

• Billing Address

• Email Address

• Telephone Number

• Transaction Amount

• Payment Confirmation Details

 

Payment card details and banking information are processed securely by authorised third-party payment providers and are not stored on GSSS systems.

 

Use of Payment Information

Payment information is collected and used solely for the following purposes:

• Processing Registration Fees and Event Payments

• Confirming and Managing Registrations

• Issuing Invoices and Payment Receipts

• Preventing Fraudulent Transactions

• Meeting Financial, Accounting, and Legal Obligations

 

Payment Security

We use secure payment gateways and reputable third-party payment processors to protect financial transactions. All payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard security protocols. While we take reasonable measures to safeguard payment information, no online transaction system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Refund Policy

All registration fees, event entry fees, accommodation packages, and associated charges are non-refundable once payment has been processed. Refunds will only be issued if the relevant Global School Swimming Series event is cancelled by the organisers and no alternative event, transfer option, or credit arrangement is offered.

 

No refunds will be provided for any of the following circumstances:

• Withdrawal by the Participant, School, Club, Academy, or Team

• Changes in Attendance or Team Composition

• Injury or Illness

• Travel Disruption or Transportation Delays

• Visa Refusal or Immigration Issues

• Failure to Meet Qualification Requirements

• Schedule Conflicts

• Personal Circumstances

• Failure to Attend the Event

• Force Majeure Events beyond the Organisers' Reasonable Control

 

Participants, parents, schools, and clubs are strongly encouraged to carefully consider their commitment before completing registration and payment.
 

Event Cancellation

Should the organisers cancel an event, registered participants will be informed of any applicable refund, credit, or transfer arrangements.

Any refund issued will be limited to fees paid directly to GSSS and will not include third-party costs such as flights, accommodation, insurance, transportation, visa fees, or related expenses.
 

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Participants agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes for services that have been delivered or where these terms clearly apply. The organisers reserve the right to recover any costs incurred as a result of unsuccessful or fraudulent chargebacks and may restrict future participation in GSSS events.

Data Retention

Payment records and transaction information will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil operational, accounting, audit, tax, and legal requirements. Following the applicable retention period, information will be securely deleted or anonymised.
